Dedicated to the memory of Albert Neall

This site is a tribute to Albert Neall who sadly passed away on Wednesday 1st April 2020.

Albert was born in Stepney London on June 16, 1939, and was brother to Eric his younger sibling. Albert was married to his beloved wife Lily for over 50 years, and they had two children, Carolyn & Douglas.  Albert was a doting Grandad to Doug & Julie's two children Sophie & Samuel.

Albert's transport interests had started with his time spent in the RAF completing his National Service in the late fifties. When he left this he started his own Road Haulage business where he ran a fleet of lorries for most of his working life. When he retired, Albert had more time for his love of classic cars and had built a collection of his own up over the years, which often took him off on holidays and adventures with the clubs and friends he knew through this hobby.  He even managed to get Carolyn & Geoff and Douglas, Julie, Sophie & Samuel out to events in his cars!

He also loved spending time at North Weald Airfield, where his son Doug works. Albert had also enjoyed several flights over the last few years, and always returned with a beaming smile!

Albert was always known for his generous, kind attitude and love of his family and friends. He will leave a huge void in our lives and we would love it if you could share your memories and photos if you wish onto this page so we can create a memory page.

We have chosen St. Francis Hospice as our chosen charity, as they offered so much comfort and support to us all, when we sadly lost Lily six years ago. Albert tried to support them as much as possible.

He is much loved and will always be remembered. Fly high Dad, we miss you lots,

Doug, Julie, Sophie & Samuel xxxx

Carolyn & Geoff xx

My husband and I first met Albert & Lily when we moved into Great Cullings 13 Years ago and Albert & Lily could not have made us feel more welcome. We saw more of Albert as he would often be out the front working on or taking care of one of his cars. Albert was a true gentleman and would always ask how my Dad is doing as sadly they were both going through prostate cancer. My Dad would often tell me when I came home from work,I have enjoyed a good chat with Albert today. I loved to chat with Albert and he would stroke Ellie. Albert was the kind of neighbour that everyone would wish for and I my husband and Dad will miss seeing him when we pass bye Be with your beautiful wife now Albert and may your bright, positive and kindness live on in your Children & Grandchildren. God Bless Kelly, Lee & Ellie Dog xxxx
